ATM Cave Tour
Jamir is absolutely the best! From the moment you meet him, he makes you feel welcome and comfortable no question ever feels silly. He’s a true wealth of knowledge and brings the history and culture to life with his storytelling, making the walk to the cave both fun and fascinating. Throughout the tour, he took his time to ensure we were safe and aware of any obstacles, all while sharing incredible insights about Mayan culture and the artifacts we encountered. It was such a wonderful, unique, and informative experience. We can’t recommend this tour enough. We love JAM JAM!

Best way to see ATM Cave
We were referred to Jamir through Clarissa Falls Resort (an amazing stay on the river) to take part of the ATM tour. Jamir picked us up at our resort and provided an amazing personalized tour of the cave and artifacts.
Reading the reviews of the cave itself, the biggest complaint were the crowds people encountered. Some parts of the cave are very narrow with limited space to maneuver. Apparently several of the large companies send people onto the cave path early in the morning and another midday. Jamir timed the start of our tour anticipating this issue, setting off on a time window between the large companies, so we didn’t even see another group for the first 2 hours. We had much of the cave to ourselves to explore.
If you’re looking at booking a tour to the ATM Cave system, highly recommend Jam Jam Tour Company!

Jam Jam gave us the the best tour of our lives!
We had an amazing tour with Jamir. He’s incredibly knowledgeable of the Mayan history and culture but able to explain in a way that’s not overwhelming. In the cave he took extra care with us to make sure we were save and with our 9 year old daughter adapted to her needs. He adds a lot of humor to his tour and had some jokes for all

Amazing Knowledgeable Tour Guide
Let’s start with the incredible man, tour operator and guide into this amazing cave. Clearly passionate about sharing the history of the Mayan people. His knowledge was beyond impressive. He knew every rock to put your foot on, from the knee crushers to the head bangers… Unbelievable dedication to his chosen profession. His instructions were clear and safety was his number one priority.
